Regarding COVID-19, as you know Congress passed the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) with the PAID LEAVE PROVISIONS effective April 1 through December 31, 2020 for companies with less than 500 but more than 50 employees - full and part-time who have been employed/worked for the company for more than 30 days. Note that child care closures entitle parents up to two weeks of paid leave at full pay, and then 2/3 pay thereafter. The Deparment of Labor regularly posts questions and answers on its website.
